Every chinese has one wechat account, like our ID card, from the old to the young.

Why you should have one wechat ?

1,almost every chinese has one wechat, so to help you communicate them easily, this is necessary.

2,Wechat can do almost everything, like calling a Taxis, pay for lunch, charge for your cellphone,booking ticket, booking hotel, go shopping and getting movie tickets. Everything you needed in China, you can go through Wechat. That’s why so many Chinese use that.

3,More cheaper way to communicate, only if you have wifi, then you can spend no money to call anyone on wechat, you can spend more money to talk with anyone.

Also,there will be much more easier and more cheaper to get one taxis to drive to your destination.

How to use that.

1,search in your android or apple store for Wechat, you can see the logo as below,

2,Open app, then you will need to logo in, there will be two ways, login with your phone number or Sign up, or you can connect with your Facebook directly. Picture as below.

3, When you came into the app, you will find Four different basic functions on the bottom of screen. Chats,Contacts, Discover, Me

1, Chats Functions

The first function, on this screen, you can see all the friends which you are talking and talked.

If there any news you didn’t saw, you can see one red point to remind you.

And on the top right corner, you can see +, Open that, you can see above functions.

Group Chat,

you can select one group Select a group which on your list you already had.

Join Private Group, it means you can create one group, it will remind you create one passwords, then anyone of your friends can join this group to chat. You will be the group creator.

Add Contacts, you can add one new friends here, you can find others or your own wechat ID on Me(fourth big function), then in the top place,there will be an ID, you can revise this ID to be more memorable.

Scan QR code, you can add new friend on scan his QR code, you can also find this on the same place of ID. And you can use this to pay others, also get other app through this.

Instant Photo, this function already revised into Money. You can use this function to receive money and pay out money.

Free call, this function already revised into Help&Feedback. You can more detail instruction on this place.

You can see all the friends on here and can search any account by keywords.

Discover

Moment, there will be collected all your friends’ posted moments, all chinese like to post their moment here via words, photos or videos. And we can read, like and comment on your friend’s moment.

Other functions will be not used so often.

Top of that will be your name, ID, profile Photo,OR codes, Gender and other basic information.

My posts, will includes all posts you had published

Favorites, will includes all contents which you marked as favorites

Wallet.

The will have function of quick pay(seller can scan you to receive money from you)

Balance, which your money saved in the wechat.

Cards, the bank account or credit card which can connect into your wechat to pay.

Transfer, you can choose any your friend, then transfer money to them.

Mobile top Up, can recharge your mobile number here.

Wealth, it about manages money.

This is a big city which will have so many foreigner people come here for study,travel, business and others.

I am always trying to write something maybe useful for who will come to Guangzhou or China. Maybe about life in the Guangzhou, maybe something about medical professional technology. Anything I thought maybe useful for you.

Ok, today, let’s introduce something about Guangzhou transportation,

When you arrive at Guangzhou Baiyun international airport, most of them will try to get taxis to your hotel or your destination. But taxis are always busy, it should wait for a long time. Even our native don’t take during the traffic time.

Some useful suggestions to you.

1,if you have lots of Luggage, and still need taxis, firstly, you should you should buy one China phone card. You can go to the airplane official place to wait for taxi.

Following is one map, there will be Part A and Part B different place.

you can also order taxi by call, The hot line is 96900, There will be English language to choose.

Then tell the customer service representative where are you, where is your destination.

So its better to know where is your destination before you get off from plain.

2,If your are with not so many Luggage, maybe subway is the most quickly way to you.

You can call your guangzhou contact person(can be your friend or hotel staff) or contact me to ask which subway station is near your destination, then take subway firstly, then you can take one taxis or walk to them.

Because guangzhou most central places are near subway station. And the other places are not so crowded as airplane. You can get one taxis more easily.

3,You can also take the bus, just like a native. This is the most cheapest way.

But you should know which bus should take and which station would like to arrive.

I tried to find a bus line searching website in English, but its a pity, there is no English one.
